ImageVodafone is the world's largest mobile phone network with a massive global brand and presence. In terms of coverage it is number 1 in the UK and has pioneered the development of 3G products and services.

Offers
From April 2006 we will be re-aligning our offers to be more competitive within the mobile market place. Much of our advertising will centre on 2 key messages:
  • Free texts for life
  • 6 Months Half Price Line Rental

Unique propositions
These offers alone provide very strong messages but they will be backed up with 2 unique Vodafone propositions:

  • Stop the Clock - Pay for the first 3 minutes of all off-peak calls and get the next 57 minutes of that call free. This will be communicated as "Free Off Peak Minutes for Life" and effectively allows customers to stretch their bundle by up to 20 times its original size (also applies to cross network calls)
  • Free Music TV - Vodafone is launching a very high profile music proposition over the summer which will include sponsorship of many live events and new content offers. The first stage of this from April onwards will be to offer free music TV for the first month of every new contract.
Both these propositions will be supported by a £10 million above-the-line marketing spend (press, TV, radio etc.)

Handset Portfolio
As well as its unique relationship with Sharp, Vodafone also negotiates a number of first to market deals with other handset manufacturers. As a result they have enjoyed great success with recent launches of some key handsets:
  • Sony Ericsson W900i (Walkman Phone)
  • Motorola L7 SLVR
  • Also due April Samsung Z540 (super-slim 3G phone) and NOKIA 6234 (latest 3G handset)

Keep Talking, Stop Paying.

Minutes last up to 20 times longer with Vodafone Stop The Clock.
You know you’ve had a good chat when your conversation begins with “I’ve only got a minute” but ends with “is that the time?” You get so absorbed by all the grizzly details of your friends’ lives that nothing else matters. That is (or rather was), until the phone bill arrives. Thankfully, with Vodafone Stop The Clock, you can chat, guilt-free, for the price of a three minute call.
